A little guidance from the Webbys on getting your five-word speech right

Once again this year, Plank is very proud to serve as Canadian Ambassador to the Webby Awards. In case you don't know, the Webbys are the premiere internet awards in the world, honouring the best in websites, interactive advertising, online film & video, and mobile web. Winning one is a true honour, and the five-word speech for winners is a great tradition.

So this Friday is the early registration deadline for Webby entries. If you enter before midnight Firday, you'll get substantial savings on the normal entry fees. So enter today in one or more of over 100 categories. Some great new categories have been added this year, including green (environmental) sites and best use of online and social media.

So enter right now! Do it! You'll need the extra time to write your five words. It ain't as easy as it sounds.
