Plank has a long history at the SXSW Interactive Festival. Our fearless leader was a speaker there in 2003, talking about our experience building film websites (we had done Bowling for Columbine for Michael Moore amongst our numerous projects for him).
For as long as we can remember, Plank has gone to SXSW. It is a great source of inspiration for us, to be able to learn so much and interact with everyone in person instead of via our computer screens.
This year, Plank is once again going (of course) and we are hoping to speak at a panel again. And you can help! We have submitted two great ideas for panels, which you can vote on. All the votes will help determine which panels are picked by SXSW, and every vote counts. This is truly democratic. So here’s what you do.
Go here: http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/, where you will need to sign up for an account (just your email address) to be able to vote. Sorry it’s a pain, but they need to watch voter irregularities. No Florida 2000 here!
Once you have an account, you can search for “Plank” to see our two panels, or you can just go straight to these two URL’s:
Thanks for all your 5-star votes, and we look forward to seeing you March 7, 2008 in Austin!
