We’re extremely proud to announce that Hannah Partridge has joined Plank full time as our Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development. Due to the fact that Hannah had previously worked with Plank in 2014, her return feels like a teammates homecoming!
Hannah brings valuable experience as an innovative senior marketing professional with 14 years experience working both client and agency side.
Originally from the UK, her career has focussed on the development and delivery of award winning digital and integrated campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands. She previously worked as the Client Services Director at DLKW Lowe and BD Network where she provided the strategic and operational campaign direction for The Coca-Cola Company, Diageo, Unilever, Mattel and Burger King accounts. She also played a crucial role for EMI Music as the Brand Partnerships Manager for the UK & Ireland.
We strongly believe she’s the right person to help us grow Plank. While her credentials are impeccable, her personal side is equally awesome. Get to know her a bit more with our quick Q&A below:
Plank: Where are you from and what drew you to Canada?
Hannah: I grew up in rural Wiltshire, UK but moved to London aged 19 and lived there until we moved to Canada in November 2013. We came to Canada for my husbands work……he is a Visual Effects Editor for film, a growing industry here in Canada,
particularly in Montreal.
Plank: What are you most excited about at Plank, what do you hope to bring to the team and achieve?
Hannah: What I like about Plank: Great, innovative and thought provoking work. Entrepreneurial spirit. Great team of passionate people. What I can bring: Experience working with big, global clients in large agencies. Hopefully I can offer a new perspective on processes and suggest fresh ways of doing things. I want to bring new ideas to the table. I have a passion for innovation and a hunger to succeed.
Plank: What do you love most about Business Development and your role at Plank?
Hannah: Creating opportunities, researching and developing new campaigns, driving the business forward.
Plank: If you could be anyone else, who would you be and why?
Hannah: Oh, tough question……I think I’d like to be Black Widow from the Avengers. She looks amazing in that superhero outfit and my 4 year would be BEYOND impressed!!
Plank: Tell us something else about you?
Hannah: My last meal on this planet would be steak and chips! The Prodigy are my favourite band. They are first band I saw live at Knebworth in 1996.
