Last Friday the team at Plank waited with bated breath as the 2015 Net Awards ceremony got underway in beautiful London, UK. Rush.com, the band website that we redesigned and redeveloped in partnership with Happy Cog, was up for Redesign of the Year against some impressive competition including theguardian.com and airbnb.com.
Sadly the crowning glory was not to be ours that night and it was the team from The Guardian who took to the podium – massive congratulations to them. Humble in defeat, we’re very happy to have our design work recognised in the same league as this global media giant and as always it’s great to be on the industry radar for strong work.

The net awards, run by net magazine, are a firm fixture in the calendar of the web design and development industry. Now in their 16th year, the awards recognise the new talent, trends and technologies that have pushed the web forward over the last 12 months.
The Rush site was initially chosen as one of 10 websites from many high caliber category entries. The longlist went to a public vote and Rush.com was one of 5 top ranking sites to make it into the shortlist to be viewed and judged by a panel of experts.
Big thanks to all Plank, Happy Cog and Rush fans who supported us with votes.
