Sadly the crowning glory was not to be ours that night and it was the team from The Guardian who took to the podium – massive congratulations to them. The net awards, run by net magazine, are a firm fixture in the calendar of the web design and development industry. Now in their 16th year, the awards recognise the new talent, trends and technologies that have pushed the web forward over the last 12 months.

The Rush site was initially chosen as one of 10 websites from many high caliber category entries. The longlist went to a public vote and was one of 5 top ranking sites to make it into the shortlist to be viewed and judged by a panel of experts.

Big thanks to all Plank, Happy Cog and Rush fans who supported us with votes.
